Nice to meet you!
My name is Bernd Rolauffs. I've
been a photographer since 1996 when I discovered that studying medicine
isn't all there is in life. Since then, I've been working as a
freelancer with my camera. In my medical career, I've worked in several
hospitals as an Orthopaedic surgeon and did a postdoctoral fellowship at
M.I.T. as a cartilage scientist. Currently, my bases are the BG
Traumacenter and the Regenerative Medicine Center in Tuebingen, Germany.
As time allows, I enthusiastically shoot freelance.
I'm originally from the German Lower Rhine, but have
had the chance to live in Northumberland in northern England, Chicago,
Boston and now southern Germany. I love to travel: my idea of home is
where my sleeping bag is rolled out. I believe life is an adventure,
which you should follow ...
